Gratuitous Chutney Shot

STATUS: It’s a crazy Monday and I haven’t posted Chutney pic in ages.

What’s playing on the XM or iPod right now? DON’T FORGET by Brett Dennen

Today our client Courtney Milan was in town so we went to lunch. Knowing that Chutney likes to hang at the office, Courtney brought her own fur baby, Pele, to keep her company while we went and got some Thai noodles.

After a minute of furious growling, how dare another dog enter her domain, Chutney decided she really liked Pele and they spent the rest of the time snuggling on the couch together. (Couldn’t catch that shot!)

But here they are at the park post lunch.

Yep, I’m holding treats so I have their undivided attention… Clients and pets are always welcome at NLA.

Awww, what a cute puppy! (I call all dogs puppies, btw. Even my in-laws dog Ginger, who died at 14 yrs of age two years ago, was a puppy to the last day.)

If I was not already in love with you through your blog as an agent, that just sold me right there.

I’m a dog person, and own two ridiculously cute and needy basset hounds. I have always wondered at what it would be like to be able to bring your dog to your day job. Helps though if your the boss right?

Too cute!! Haha, their eyes are just GLUED to the treat, aren’t they? I bet not even a squirrel could shake their concentration. 🙂

    Very cute. 🙂

When you take me on as a client, I shall be happy to bring my vizlas to visit. Snuggling on the couch isn’t their style though. Knocking over the coffee table so that it rams into the back of your knees, thus throwing *you* on the couch, yes.

    @ Julie

Off the cuff, I’d guess border collie or border mix.

    Two happy dogs…. 🙂

Pele is a bi-color Aussie. He’s from mini-Aussie lines, but is just a tad (an inch) over the top of the mini size range.

The prick ears are considered a fault by the AKC, but since I happen to know he’s the best dog ever, I think the AKC is full of it.

They’re beautiful! And so attentive – treats will do that to a dog (or human).

Julie – I agree with Lucy, Pele looks to be a Border Collie (very energetic, unlike my German Shepherd, Taz – Trouble from A to Z).

Oops, commented at the same time as Courtney. Off to look up Aussie breeds.

Courtney, is he named after the soccer great, Pele?

Janet, yes, he is! And if you think he is fixated on that treat, just wait until you see the way he looks when you hold up a ball. 🙂 This has nothing on that.
