How They Came to Us
Meghan initially queried a colleague of mine here at NLA, but as luck would have it, said colleague thought that Meghan’s nerdy voice would be more up my alley. She couldn’t have been more spot-on. A Buffy-quoting, Catan-playing, Gryffindor, I fell in love with The Frame-Up instantly. I read it in one sitting – well, in one standing, actually, leaning against my kitchen counter, letting my kids watch YouTube way longer than usually permitted on a school night – and knew I had to work on it. I beat out a number of other interested agents, but I’d like to think that it was because geeks like Meghan and I can’t help but flock together.
The Frame-Up will be out just in time for San Diego Comic Con 2018 from 47North, with a follow-up due next year.
Meghan comes to writing by way of a Masters in Architecture, a minor in Opera, a professional career as a barn manager, and two years crash course as a mother. She currently resides in Colorado with her fellow zookeeper (husband), son, two horses, cat, and dog. She is an avid lover of everything nerdy from Wars to Trek, Hobbits, Who, and beyond. When she’s not writing, she’s cooking, dreaming of travel, coveting more corgis, and listening to audiobooks while hanging out at the barn.
