Jillian Boehme

Young Adult Fantasy

How They Came to Us

Jillian was originally represented by Danielle’s boss at her previous agency. As Danielle started taking on clients and Jillian shifted her focus to YA fantasy, they bonded over jokes, a love of chocolate, and a passion for editing a book until it is nearly perfect. Danielle’s boss generously stepped aside so the two could work together and Jillian followed Danielle to NLA. They developed multiple projects before landing on the one that finally found a home. It is a rich and beautiful story of a girl overcoming all odds through grit and persistence and is set for publication in 2019.

Jillian is known to the online writing community as Authoress, hostess of Miss Snark’s First Victim, a popular blog for aspiring authors. In real life, she holds a degree in Music Education, sings with the Nashville Symphony Chorus, and wishes she could be a ballerina.  Her short story Beginning was published as part of the anthology When the Hero Comes Home 2 from Dragon Moon Press (2013).  In addition to having a background in theatre (which has produced a life-long love for the stage), she is also a classical pianist, a freelance editor, and an unapologetic foodie.
