STATUS: Blogging before noon! It’s happy hour someplace, right? Grin.
What’s playing on the iPod right now? DID YE GET HEALED by Van Morrison
It’s no secret that I love reading on my Kindle but I still laughed at Green Apple Books Smackdown on Youtube—Book vs Kindle.
They’ve gone 8 rounds if you want to view them all.
But here’s the latest for Storytime. Enjoy!
I don’t feel so bad anymore for not wanting an eReader. Talk about peer pressure, “But everyone else is doin’ it!”
LMAO!!! Now I know how to get in storytime AND my Vodka Collins at the end of the day.
How cute are those kids! Kindles look cool, but books are the awesomest.
That was hilarious.
Not a Kindle person myself, yet, but my wife loves hers. She gets that first free chapter and if she likes it, presses a button. 30 seconds or so later, she’s reading the rest of the book. Keeps her nightstand pile very low, too. My nightstand pile is teetering.
Wait, none of them tried to eat the Kindle? I bet they had people with tasers keep the kids away from the electronics.
Book wins!
I love my e-reader (it’s a Sony) AND I love paperbacks.
It doesn’t have to be one or the other – I enjoy playing on the Wii AND I live to play Scrabble at my kitchen table.
*dies*
That is HYSTERICAL. I think we can all breath a sigh of relief that Kindle in fact will NOT mean the death of books.
*snort*
To Sarah Laurenson regarding the teetering nightstand: I’m so there. I asked my husband to build me a bookshelf headboard for my birthday last year. Seriously.
Ms. Nelson, I know others have also commented to this effect, but I’m really enjoying the little player that shares your iPod choice w/ us. Too cool.
Funny.
That was truly funny, thank you for making my day!
Ha ha ha hah a ahahahahahah!!!!
I do love my Kindle, but this Book vs. Kindle video is hilarious!
What a RIOT!
Still considering getting the Kindle for my hubby for Christmas. But..um…LOL
As a person with a paper fetish, I considered myself the last person who would ever own a Kindle, but I have one and I love it—especially since I go through so many romances. There are some things that were only meant for paperback through: like cookbooks and children’s books!
Hysterical! Good old-fashioned books are probably still best for the children’s stories 🙂
