STATUS: Having a day of play on Oahu!
What’s playing on the iPod right now? Nothing, just the sound of the waves.
Try not to laugh too hard as we work hard at the Halekaluni’s House Without A Key beach bar.

Strenuous labor indeed. Hope you all aren’t too sore from the effort tomorrow!
Cheers 🙂
I thought for sure you’d at least have your Kindle with you. Sheez! 😉
Puke Ki Aha!
Ooh, I see a pina colada (or mojito-ish drink?)!
Kristin…
Did you grow those legs in the Midwest? NICE!
Haste yee back 😉
What kind of table is that? You need more room for your drinks. 🙂
The conference was fantastic, but nice to have a free day in Hawaii too…Thanks for the workshops and consultation…Looking forward to getting you the “30 pages”…The flight attendant with the dead first class pax.
Has anyone seen a finer looking group of folks?
These are the people that bring me all the lovely books I enjoy reading so much.
Have you all got your own drinks or are yous having to share?
I notice that you are smiling the biggest in this picture.
Already buzzed, are we?
I would be too. Frag. Let’s switch places.
Maybe I don’t want to be a writer…
I see white, very white people in Hawaii!…lol. Work in some beach time people! Come back with at least a slight burn…

check this out, i found it really touching!
What a wonderful time it was! The Hawaii Writers Conference is a gorgeous place to be, and offers lots of inspiration.
Kristin, your session (I saw only the second half) was one of the strongest, with real information we could use. People came out of there jazzed about query letters — which is saying something! I agree that they should schedule it earlier in the conference.
Thank you for doing so much to reach out to writers. Any of us would be lucky to have you as an agent.
I love this blog site. I am an aspiring writer and this website helps me a lot.
Thanks- Alaina
