What’s playing on the iPod right now? IF I COULD WRITE A BOOK by Harry Connick, Jr.
Thrilled to pieces that links are back on at Amazon. Not because I don’t value independent bookstores but because it’s hard not to include possible sales from the largest online bookseller.
Any author would want ALL venues available when launching a debut literary novel in this current economy.
So to celebrate, Nelson Literary Agency is throwing a pre-Tattered-Cover-Highlands-Ranch book party for Denver client Paula Reed—Friday, February 19, 2010.
Click on play to view details in the invite. RSVP and I’ll see you there.

Sounds like fun. I wish I lived closer so I could be there.
I love Harry Connick, Jr. which makes the invite even more awesome — plus, the book looks amazing. I have family flying in that night but may try to sneak out. The Tattered Cover is the coolest place to have a signing — congrats!
They sure took their time, didn’t they?
Congrats on the book party!
Wish i could make it…
good luck.
Such great news!
Had to look up Highlands Ranch. Thought it might be in CO, but I wasn’t sure.
I was glad those pages repeated. Too tired to read that fast.
Love the invite. Hope it’s a blast!
Wish so badly I could be there! Highlands Ranch is my beloved hometown but my husband’s job moved us to AZ. I have spent many afternoons at Tattered Cover and will be there in spirit. 🙁
Wish I lived in Denver:) Have a great time.
great post
Nice source of information you have provided thanks…
Oh, man. I miss the Tattered Cover so much, but I moved from Denver to Texas ages ago.
Awww, I used to go to the Tattered Cover all the time when I lived in Denver. It was just 15 minutes away from where I lived. I can’t believe it’s been 10 years! I’m glad it’s still around.
Ah, Kristin, I would be there in a heartbeat if I only lived near Denver. Unfortunately, I’m on the east coast. I’m glad everything is back to normal and Paula will have the full number of retailers carrying her book.
Love that Smilebox! Hadn’t seen that before.
Oh I wish I lived nearby 🙁 I’d go if I didn’t live all the way on the other side of the country.
But that book looks awesome! Especially since I’m a HUGE fan of The Scarlet Letter.
*quickly puts Hester at the top of “to-be-read” list*
Woohoo, the Highlands Ranch store is 5 minutes from my house! Kristin, will you be at the book signing as well? I can’t make it to the party but I will sure be there for the book signing!
