STATUS: Crunch time to get everything ready before I leave on Sunday
What’s playing on the XM or iPod right now? WHEN THE SUN GOES DOWN by Arctic Monkeys
So I definitely need a good laugh to smooth out the afternoon. Hopefully you feel the same.
One of my favorite groups for Friday Funnies is Improv Everywhere. (Check out the “funnies” tag on sidebar for previous posts featuring them.)
This one doesn’t disappoint. Hint: What movie has an opening scene at the New York Public Library on 42nd street?
Another hint? Check out the title!
Enjoy!
Kristin:
Love your BLOG – have you in my reader and lurk daily.
Your typo today just made me HAVE to comment.
Improv Everywhere has a very different mission than Improve Everywhere, although both are necessary in today’s world.
Cheers!

I’m SOOOOO glad no one else was in my office at the time I clicked on that jewel!
I LOVED it!
Thanks a million, girl.
Who ya gonna call? I remember teaching aerobics to a junior high football team to that theme song for their routine in a Halloween Parade. They won first place.
I love that video. My favorite moment is the guy that gets on his phone when the ghost sits next to him and he mouths “What the..?” (Sorry, but that’s a word I just don’t type.)
Love that and then when the guard at the beginning is just looking at the ghost and then keeps on going.
Thanks for that, LOL!
*don’t cross the streams*
Have an excellent weekend.
Gotta love fast typing! One little ‘e’ makes a heck of a difference!
My 3 year old dd’s fav movie, she came running when I played it and asked if I was watching Ghost Monsters!
Cute!
Yes. Improv EVERYWHERE! Wish I had the guts.
Thank you so much for reminding me of Improv Everywhere! I’m watching the videos of their missions now.
Oh, and I found a copy of The Shifter at the library. I’m halfway through and enjoying it just as much as the Gallagher Girls.
Kristin!
I was so happy to meet you at BEA at Simone’s signing on Thursday 🙂 I could not believe you were able to have the star of her trailer and Katy Perry’s video be there. That was amazing! I hope you have a great time in NYC over the weekend and can’t wait to see what you have to say about your time at BEA!
Kristin (spelled the ONLY way)
I really can’t help but love the eighties… they got it right so many times. I love a good laugh.
I have a quick question. I blogged about it today after getting your newsletter, so I’m curious of course. What do you consider the slush pile? 🙂 THANKS!

Hi Kristin,
It was a pleasure meeting you at the Backspace Agent-Author Day while you were in NY. I have a great deal of respect for your opinion and thought you made great observations on everyone’s work. I gave all your comments on my two pages alot of thought last night. After licking my wounds a little, I began rewriting the beginning of my book. As soon as I’m done, you’ll be getting my query for The Ghost Chronicles. You haven’t heard the last of me yet! No sinister implication implied 🙂
Best regards,
~M
Oh, that was fabulous! Enjoyed it very much.
Well, that was a needed and welcomed laugh. the video funny but watching the people’s reaction to the skit was even better!
I wish they had IE near where I live. It’s so much fun! And I’d totally join in their antics. Thank you for the video, it made a rough morning so much better. :o)
