What’s Playing on the XM or iPod right now? JOHNNY B. GOODE by Chuck Berry
We’ve known for months but couldn’t say anything. I guess if Hollywood Reporter is going blast it out there (with nary a heads up I might add), I’m going to shine a spotlight on it.
Congrats Ally on having Drew Barrymore attached to direct HEIST SOCIETY and even more fabulous?
Having the sequel, UNCOMMON CRIMINALS, debut at #3 on the New York Times Children’s Bestseller list this week!!!
That’s such fabulous news! Congrats to Ally!
Wow! Congratulations all around. I love Ally’s books.
Awesome. Congratulations!
That’s so awesome! Ally Carter is my fav.
Congratulations!!
Nice! I really enjoyed Whip It. She should treat the source material respectfully.
How awesome! Congrats to Ally!
How exciting! Congratulations! 🙂
It couldn’t have happened to a more talented or fantastically nice writer. Congrats, Ally!
How abso-freaking-lutely wonderful!
Just the other day, I was wondering why there was no Ally-Carter-stuff movie. Silly me!
This is so far beyond awesome. Hooray for Ally and Heist Society/Uncommon Criminals!!!
This is just amazing! Congrats to you Kristin and Ally! It’s so great to see hot YA lit popping up in cinema.
I would be so excited if it were my book, A Marked Past!

That’s pretty fantastic. I’m a big Drew Barrymore fan…I’ve liked nearly everything she’s been connected with. Yay for you guys!
That’s fantastic! Not that I’m surprised. The book is so cinematic it just begs for a movie to be made from it. I’ve been anticipating one ever since I read it.
By the way, I have a question for your blog. I’ve had several rejections on full manuscripts. The reason the agents cited is that they just didn’t connect with the characters. What does that mean, exactly, and what – if anything – can I do to remedy it? Or is it simply a nice way of saying, “I just didn’t fall in love”? Thank you!
OMG SO EXCITE. I loooved Heist Society!
Fabulous indeed.
Congrats all around! 😀
Wow! So awesome! Congrats, Ally, and Kristin!
I thought Ms. Barrymore’s directing in Whip It was great. Ally’s book is in good hands. Congrats!!
Exciting! What great luck to have such an well-known & loved director. I definitely need to read this before the film comes out!
That’s fantastic! And to think I’ve yet to read this two great books. I’m ordering them right now!
