Jennifer Nissley

Jennifer Nissley is a graduate of Stony Brook Southampton’s MFA program, where she studied with Ursula Hegi, Patricia McCormick, and Meg Wolitzer. In her day job, she instructs teenagers in a remedial reading and writing program. She lives in Astoria, Queens with her wife. 

Brittney Morris

Brittney Morris is the founder and former president of the Boston University Creative Writing Club, and her work has been published in The Boston University Chimaerid Literary Magazine. She was chosen as a Novel-In-A-Day participant 2016, a four-time NaNoWriMo winner, and an active informal mentor in #PitMad and #DVPit. She will be a 2018 Pitch Wars mentor. Miranda Asebedo

Miranda Asebedo was born and raised in rural Kansas with a love of fast cars, open skies, and books. She carried that love of books to college, where she got her B.A. and M.A. in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing and Literature. Miranda still lives on the prairie today with her husband, two kids, and a majestic bulldog named Princess Jellybean. If Miranda’s not writing or reading, she’s most likely convinced everyone to load up in the family muscle car and hit the road.

Florence Gonsalves

Florence is the author of two books of young adult fiction, Love and Other Carnivorous Plants and Dear Universe (forthcoming in May 2020). In 2015 she graduated from Dartmouth College where she majored in Philosophy, while taking as many poetry classes as she could. Her work experience ranges from publishing in NYC, to goat farming in Maine, to one really bad holiday shift at UPS. Heather Kaczynski

Heather Kaczynski is the author of Dare Mighty Things and the sequel, One Giant Leap. She holds a degree in biology from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and spent seven years working in an Army library near Marshall Space Flight Center, where she managed the children and young adult collections. She lives outside of Huntsville, Alabama, with her husband, their young daughter, and two cats named after Greek myths.
